Evangelism Ministry

The mission of the Evangelism Ministry of the First Baptist Church is to make disciples. Following the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 we will make disciples of all nations by (1) going into the community - Mission (2) bringing believers to be baptized - Membership and teaching them the Word of God - Discipleship. As stated in Acts 1:8 we will accomplish this through the power of the Holy Ghost.

The Evangelism Team meets bi-monthly on the 2^nd Saturday at
10:30 AM. The team engages in the following activities:

• Bi-monthly street witnessing
   

• Support to Prison Ministry
   

• Support to New Members Ministry
   

• Special community outreach such as Antioch & Pittsburg Seafood Festivals
   

• Special ministry event outreach such as Feeding the Homeless, Vacation Bible School, Thanksgiving and Christmas
